Moving to a new home is both exhilarating and nerve-racking. Where will I put my furniture? will it match? what should I buy? So many questions go through your head. It’s what you leave in the house and what you bring to the new house. New memories are beginning while others are being left behind for the new house owner to begin their own memories. Let your new house introduce itself to you! Here’s what the current owners have to say about the home they left behind:

  • Why did you chose 18 Pioneer Point?

It had everything we had on our wish list: large open floor plan, large master with large en suite and separate sinks and separate closets, carpet for our little ones (Mack A. Roni & Cheese need carpet as they tend to slip on hardwoods), large yard with unobstructed water view, bonus room upstairs that could later be converted to 4th bedroom if needed, gas stove and fireplace, two car garage, lots of storage and custom built ins, one full and one half bath for guest use, quiet street, close to work. It was perfect.

  • What was your favorite aspects/features of 18 Pioneer Point?

The private and serene backyard on the lagoon was perfect for our little ones and star gazing at night; the large master with our own separate closets!; the large open living space – the custom built ins displayed our family portraits beautifully; the gas kitchen and cozy fireplace were heaven – if you’ve ever cooked on a non-gas stove, or had to chop firewood for a wood fireplace, you will understand where we’re coming from!

  • What were some special memories you had SPECIFIC to 18 Pioneer Point?

It was our first home – and we closed on my mother’s birthday and the same day that Daniel’s brother closed on their home in Charleston, so it was a very special event for the entire family. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in this home. We saw quite a few meteor showers on the back patio, which is perfect for star gazing due to the awesome lack of light pollution in the back. Our favorites were the Perseid and Orionid showers. Absolutely stunning. Once we moved in, our neighbors came over and brought us a “Welcome to the neighborhood” card and handmade fruit basket – it was amazing. Pioneer Point is a very close knit group who always invited the entire street over for barbecues and get togethers every weekend; it was almost like a tiny club that we were part of since we’re on an awesome dead end street. They also put on the most amazing fireworks show in the entire neighborhood because we live on the perfect street for it – Daniel and I watched the entire 15 min show from our patio and it felt like we had our own personal fireworks show!

  • Something you’d like to say to the new buyers who end up purchasing 18 Pioneer Point?

We hope you love it as much as we do/did. We are just like the original owners who didn’t want to move/leave our dream home, but life took us in an unexpected direction and we had to say goodbye. 18 Pioneer Pt will always hold a very special place in our hearts and our story.
